We offer a range of English taught, internationally focused bachelor’s and master’s programmes, ↗️ many of which include student-exchange opportunities through our network of more than 330 partner universities worldwide. In addition, many of our programmes build in practical experience, such as internships and other close collaborations with companies.

Pathway programmes
JU offers Pathway Programmes- preparatory programmes at various levels designed to help international students improve their English proficiency and meet the requirements needed to enter a bachelor’s or master’s degree programme. In addition, the pathway programmes support students to develop skills and be well prepared to higher education studies.
Jönköping University Summer School
Develop your academic and applied knowledge, meet students from across the world and learn about the Swedish culture through a range of cultural and social activities. JU’s 4-week Summer School programme is taught in English and includes the international student accommodation guarantee and local ‘pick-up’ service. JU’s Summer School provides students with the opportunity to work closely with teaching staff and gain hands-on experience through Swedish company visits. What’s the alumni network like?
Being a JU student does not end with graduation. Our graduates are connected to the university throughout their career in various ways. The schools have their own alumni networks, where graduates keep in touch and network with fellow alumni working across the globe. Alumni and their employers tap into the network as a recruitment platform as well. In addition, events are organized, and alumni are often invited back to JU as guest lecturers.
What are the connections to local industry like?
Many programmes at JU offer the opportunity to collaborate with industry in various ways – for example- by offering hands-on experience through internships and close collaborations with more than 1000 partner companies, such as IKEA, Volvo, Thule, PwC, and Scania. This is an essential part of the studies at JU. You’ll get to try out your future profession with our extensive network of Swedish and international companies and organizations.
Science Park– a business incubator partially financed by JU, offers an environment for students to grow their ideas, start a business, or cash in on their ideas alongside their studies.
