University of Borås nails it! Andreas Eklöf from the Swedish School of Textiles is among the 8 finalists in H&M Design Award 2015, a design competition for students at selected design schools around the world. The jury includes fashion experts such as Fashion Director of British Vogue, singer Lily Allen and Design Director of Marc by Marc Jacobs. Andreas has already won the Designer’s Nest competition in Copenhagen and received both TEKO’s and H&M’s awards for best collection. Now, he has a chance to win again.
The prize? €50,000, the chance to showcase the collection in Fashion Week Stockholm 2015 and opportunity to develop key pieces for selected H&M stores. This competition is only opened to students from selected colleges such as Parsons, Central Saint Martins and of course, The Swedish School of Textiles, to name a few. Go Andreas! Definitely made the right choice to study textile & fashion management here, in a specialized and truly unique university. Borås may be small but its going places like London Fashion Week and all around the world.
