What kind of programmes does the University of Gothenburg offer?

We offer programmes across nearly all academic fields. In our corridors walk future entrepreneurs, AI experts, political analysts, business leaders, climate researchers, musicians, and designers.

We offer 80 international master’s programmes and 10 bachelor’s programmes — with 32 programmes directly connected to sustainable development, reflecting our commitment to global challenges and solutions.

What’s the alumni network like?

We are very proud of our global alumni community. Today, GU graduates are based in more than 80 countries, working across industry, public sector, and academia. As a graduate, you are warmly welcomed into our alumni network and invited to participate in gatherings, lectures, and professional networking events.

One of our most distinguished alumni is Jan Eliasson, former Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, renowned for his long career in conflict prevention and international diplomacy.
