Advanced Engineering Materials is intended for students aiming at a career in the application of materials in products and processes or in materials research. There is a basic demand within industry in areas that Sweden has a tradition such as steel and manufacturing industry and a continuous need for materials specialists.
The programme offers a comprehensive foundation in the science of programming. It gives the student a strong basis for developing the computer applications of today and tomorrow and for conducting innovative research and development.
The main goal of the programme is to prepare students for a professional career in any area of engineering and development that requires an advanced knowledge of modelling, computational and experimental issues in applied mechanics.
The aim of the Automotive Engineering programme is to prepare students for a professional career within the automotive engineering field. A deeper specialized technical knowledge in Powertrain, Vehicle Dynamics or Safety is offered. This background leads to a wide range of career opportunities within design, development and research.
In the Business Design program, students participate in a cutting edge reality-based business and entrepreneurship education. The program serves three schools: CSE, GIBBS and ICM. Business Design alumni work with business development in start-ups, large firms, consultancy firms, etc .
The aim of the programme is to prepare the students for a professional career by providing a broad biomedical engineering base with profiles towards application areas such as Imaging, eHealth, Automotive, Biomaterial, and Biotechnical physics.
Will prepare students for advanced engineering careers in the field of communication engineering, by developing deep knowledge about the communication systems in todays society and a solid competence in the fundamental principles for such systems.
This Master programme is responding to the need of people that have an holistic approach to product development and at the same time have knowledge about both technique and design.
Electric power engineering is about how to use electricity as an energy carrier. This includes systems, apparatus, machines and components that are intended for production, transmission, distribution, conversion and utilization of electrical energy.
The programme concerns the interaction between people and products in which information technology is a central component. It gives students the theoretical and practical knowledge to work creatively in interaction design.
