Hey everyone, I’m Yiwen!

I’m currently pursuing a master’s degree in Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change Adaptation at Lund University.

Fun fact: this is actually my 1.5th master’s program in Sweden! Last August, I started a master’s in Design at Linköping University, focusing on Service Design and Social Innovation.

There were so many “service design is seriously world-changing!” eureka moments during my studies.But here’s the thing—I’m passionate about designing around climate change, yet I realized I knew very little about climate and environmental issues. So, in my eagerness, I decided to hit the reset button and jump into a new adventure this September at Lund, hoping to learn all about Sweden’s cutting-edge sustainability practices. I believe my “nonlinear” journey could offer a unique, unpolished perspective on real student life. Let’s go explore the unknown world of Sweden together!
