My name is Payton and I'm from the United States 🇺🇸. I'm a student at Stockholm University where I study a bachelor's in International Business and Politics.
Originally from the wide-open plains of South Dakota, I traded prairie dogs for cobblestone streets, and I now proudly call Stockholm home. I’m a professional performer turned international student, currently studying International Business and Politics at Stockholm University. When I’m not biking to class, you’ll find me discovering new cafés, or planning my next adventure across Sweden’s cities.
Before moving abroad, I spent years onstage and behind the scenes, performing as a Dancer/Singer with Carnival Cruise Lines, making my Off-Broadway debut in New York, choreographing a production of Mamma Mia, and being in front of the camera in films like Happy Gilmore 2!
I am a business owner of a media company (why I study business), and my dream is to continue to dance professionally, while producing stage and screen works internationally (why I studied international business specifically)!
Now, as a Study in Sweden Ambassador, I am excited to share my journey mixing stage lights with northern lights—showing how creativity, curiosity, and community all thrive here. Whether I’m choreographing, studying international politics, or on a quest for the best cinnamon bun in town, I’ll bring my signature energy, optimism, and dance breaks right to you!
