The ultimate student party quick-fix dessert recipe! Easy to bake in 5 SIMPLE steps and taste heavenly, seriously can’t go wrong with cocoa. Sweden is known for its year-round food traditions with days dedicated to waffles, cinnamon buns, semla (cream bun) and today is the Kladkaka day. Kladdkaka is a Swedish dense chocolate cake that resembles a typical brownie and has a soft and gooey center, usually served with whipped cream, vanilla sauce or ice-cream.
Here is an easy recipe which I always use. Fun topping suggestions: Nutella, M&Ms, Coconut shreds, berries, nuts, baking pearls … possibilities are endless with this easy-go-party recipe.
Ingredients:
2 eggs
2.5 dl (250ml) sugar
4 tablespoon cocoa
2 teaspoon vanilla sugar
100g butter (melted)
1 dl (100ml) plain flour
0.5 teaspoon salt
Icing sugar for dusting (optional)
Steps:
1. Set the oven to 175C.
2. Whip the egg and sugar until fluffy.
3. Blend the rest of the ingredients together. Tip: sieve flour and cocoa for better texture.
4. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
5. Serve with vanilla cream or ice-cream. Optional: Add some fun toppings to make it pretty. Da-dahhh! Baking complete.
Bon appétit! Smaklig måltid!
