Bachelor's programmes

Kickstart your future with a bachelor's degree from a Swedish university.

Bachelor’s programmes in English

Nearly 100 international bachelor’s programmes are taught in English in Sweden. A Swedish bachelor’s degree combines in-depth study in your focus area with studies in complementary subjects. Studies combine theory and practice, and you’ll be expected to take lots of responsibility right from the beginning of your programme.

Bachelor’s programmes typically require three years of full-time study, for a total of 180 ECTS credits.

You can find information on the courses that make up each programme on the programme website. Usually, there will be a series of compulsory core courses complemented by elective courses in a closely related field. In most cases, you’ll complete your degree by writing a bachelor’s thesis during your sixth semester.

To be eligible for entry to a bachelor’s programme, you must have successfully completed upper secondary school. Other general and programme-specific entry requirements will also apply.

See How to apply to learn more about the admissions process.
